The Mitchell Avocet RZ is a step up in the range from the entry level R model. The RZ adds extra bearings and a brighter finish to give a smmoth and very smart looking long distance beach reel. The slow oscillation system gives perfect line lay with either braid or nylon so you get smooth line flow and improved casting performance. It has a sealed greased felt drag system which features a very fast setting system so you can quickly adjust from maximum casting lock down to a safe fish fighting setting. The powerful 4.2:1 brass gearing is driven by a die-cast handle which is equipped with comfortable soft touch knob. The main shaft is machined from Stainless Steel material for extra strength.
