With its alternating black and green beads make it the perfect choice for fishing for plaice and other flatfish as they will be attracted to them. The boom’s stiff wire arm which sits just out from the mainline while fishing keeps the hook and rig away from the mainline and lead avoiding tangles. The two swivels, one to attach the mainline to and one for the hook length will go a long way to prevent line twist when lowering and retrieving the rig and fishing in strong tides. At the bottom of the boom there is a strong, reliable clip allowing a lead to be easily attached and changed when required.
