The MkII is built to the same user friendly brief but with a slimmer and lighter blank. The 2 equal section blank design has also been tweaked and now has a parabolic powered butt which blends into a powerful mid section. This allows the angler to load the rod slower and easier which results in improved casting power and feel when playing a fish. The tip is stiff enough to withstand the strong tides which this rod may well be faced with but with the correct level of sensitivity to give good bite indication.
They are fitted with Fuji rings throughout, adjustable screw winch and diamond wrap shrink.
The 13′ and 14′ models are great all round fishing rods for anglers looking to put a 6oz lead plus a propper sized bait a decent distance. They are well suited to marks such as the Bristol Channel and the North East coast.
The 15′ models are quite unique in being ‘long’ rods which will cope with big leads and baits rather than the normal continental style of ‘long’ rod which excels with light line and leads.
